Farmers' Market Season 2024 Begins!

Hi Pie Fans,

It's the Pie Guy here to announce some rather exciting news: the 2024 Farmers' Market Season begins this very week on Saturday, May 4th at the Bloomfield Saturday Market, which runs from 9:00am – 1:00pm in the heart of Bloomfield at 5050 Liberty Ave.

We're also pleased to officially announce our 2024 weekly market schedule.

We'll be at Bloomfield, of course, ready for the waiting throng of market-goers with a large variety of sweet & savory pies. Here's what's on the menu this week:

Savory

Vegetarian:

-curried chickpea & butternut

-tuscan white bean & kale

-jerk sweet potato black bean

With Meat:

-pineapple chipotle pork

-jambalaya

-berbere beef

-beef & blue cheese

-chicken tagine

Quiche

-Asparagus Goat Cheese (vegetarian)

-Quiche Lorraine (with meat)

Sweet

-chocolate bourbon pecan

-lemon

-horchata custard

We are expected some large crowds, so if there's a pie you would particularly like, be sure to show up early!

Also, if you're hoping for fresh fruit pies, hold on just a little longer. Rhubarb will be making an appearance on the pie table quite soon.

By the way, we successfully hired a pie crew for the season. So don't be surprised if you see some fresh faces under the pie tent at the markets!

Last Day of Pies & Pints @ 3ROC

With the coming of the market season, we're sad to announce we have one more appearance at 3 Rivers Outdoor Co. We'll be there tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30 from 5:00 – 8:00pm to round out a wonderful winter of pie slingin' during their Tuesday run club evenings. So if you're craving a sweet or savory pie but can't wait until Saturday, come to Pies & Pints!
